ComedyKav Now that Europe (that's a country a few miles across the sea from New York) is united they will soon all be speaking a mixture of French German and English with a bit of Belgian, Italian, Spanish and Serbo-Croat thrown in for good measure. Perhaps even a bit of Welsh and Gaelic too, may heaven help us. This will mean that the civilised world (ie the United States and a few other places) will have to get used to a whole different type of humour. To be realistic, at present no-one else on earth understands the English one, nobody in their right mind ever gets near enough to the French through their cloud of garlic to hear their jokes and the Germans only laugh at ........ well, nothing really. This will all change in the new Europe and in order to show what future generations of Europeans will find funny we have taken a few classic jokes ("classic" means "everybody's already heard them"!) and we've used the infallible magic of translation software to translate them from English into Europeanese.
